This is a great bit for all disciplines. The secret of this bit is how it swivels on the half ring mounted to the front of the shank. That gives both horse and rider a really unique feel. I find that it really helps a rider with busy hands because the ring delays the pressure to the horse’s mouth giving this bit a much more forgiving feel than most solid ports. The swivel also helps to promote more flexion and a more correct stop than just a standard port bit. One of my personal all time favorites.
