The magic of the CS 101 is the port is welded, as opposed to being pressed out of once piece. This gives the bit more bite than a traditional port. Really great for calf and break away horses, it helps them stop correctly with their shoulders up. Horses tend to score better in it because it’s pretty solid with very little movement, tying it more directly into your hand. The port is 1.75” tall and 1.25” wide.
