Our wider and taller chain port. This bit offers a little more control than the 106. It seems like every tram roper out there has a version of this bit.  What separates the chain port from most of the competition is the weight of the shanks. A lot of factory made chain ports come with thin light shanks, mine are cut from 1/4” cold roll steel. This means they are durable and add an element of weight to the bit that I find to be superior. Horses seem to pack the bit better when they’re is a little weight, and I find it is easier for them to pick up on your rein cues, leading to them being more responsive in a heavier bit .
