This floating port on 8” banana shanks is a team roper favorite. As we have discussed in many of our posts, the more breaks in the mouthpiece, the more lateral flexion a bit has. So this bit is a little stiffer than a chain port but has more flexion than a solid port. It’s a great in between for riders who need a little more stop and still and to maintain bend in the corner.
