The Process
One — The Conversation
Text or call Tristan directly at 480-459-1411. Tell him about your horse, your discipline, and what you're chasing. Whether you arrive with a precise vision or simply know something isn't working, Tristan will listen. He has built thousands of pieces for competitors at every level and knows the right questions to ask. Most custom orders are fully dialed in within a single conversation.
Two — The Design
Nothing is selected from a catalog. Mouthpiece geometry, shank style, metal combinations, engraving, silverwork, copper inlay, your brand or initials — every element is chosen deliberately for your horse and the way you ride. The result is a piece that fits your program the way a custom saddle fits a horse. Precisely and completely.
Three — The Build
Once your design is confirmed you are added to the build schedule. Current wait time is approximately [X] weeks. Tristan will keep you informed as your piece moves through the shop. Nothing leaves until it meets the standard every TM piece is held to — which is the only standard we know how to work to.
Four — Built to Win
Your finished piece is shipped directly to you. Every TM bit and spur carries a lifetime warranty — not as a marketing promise, but as a reflection of how this shop is run. If a piece ever needs attention, we handle it. No questions, no process, no exceptions. That commitment does not expire.
Investment
Custom bits begin at $500, varying with mouthpiece complexity and shank design. Custom spurs begin at $650, varying with the level of engraving and metalwork. These are not off-the-shelf prices because these are not off-the-shelf pieces.
